Our events are usually on the third Saturday of every month. That does change occasionally to avoid conflict with other major model railroading events within the state. March, June and November have traditionally been in-person, day-long meets at various locations throughout the state. We are enhancing those events with Zoom get-togethers in the other months. Arizona is the largest division of the NMRA‘s Pacific Southwest Region (PSR), both in terms of the number of members and area. The division encompasses the entire state of Arizona. Any member who lists their residence with the NMRA as “Arizona” is automatically a member of the Arizona division. Being known for winter visitors, Arizona has many guest NMRA members during the season.
The other divisions of the PSR are located to the west of us: Cajon, Los Angeles, and San Diego. The PSR and all of its divisions are 501(c)3 non-profit organizations.
The NMRA is the largest organization devoted to the development, promotion, and enjoyment of the hobby of model railroading. The NMRA was founded in 1935 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in order to provide a service to the hobby of model railroading.
