Welcome to the Arizona Division

We are glad that you found our webpage and hope to see you soon at one of our many events.

Here you will find help realizing your model railroad dreams. All you need to do is ask. To contact the member aid chair, CLICK HERE.

Our events are usually on the third Saturday of every month. That does change occasionally to avoid conflict with other major model railroading events within the state. March, June and November have traditionally been in-person, day-long meets at various locations throughout the state. We are enhancing those events with Zoom get-togethers in the other months. Check out our calendar for upcoming events.

You can get to know the leadership team (CLICK HERE). Or better yet, join us! We have positions for almost every interest. Contact the Superintendent (CLICK HERE).

Arizona has one of the most active Achievement Programs in the NMRA. Whether you are looking for a little help on a specific model or want to be a Master Model Railroader or something in-between, we are here to help. Be the best you can be! To contact the AP manager, CLICK HERE.

The division has a Facebook presence, where folks can socialize. They may share their latest project or set up a carpool to the next in-person event or arrange an informal get together or ...

What is the Arizona division?

Arizona is the largest division of the NMRA‘s Pacific Southwest Region (PSR), both in terms of the number of members and area. The division encompasses the entire state of Arizona. Any member who lists their residence with the NMRA as “Arizona” is automatically a member of the Arizona division. Being known for winter visitors, Arizona has many guest NMRA members during the season.

The other divisions of the PSR are located to the west of us: Cajon, Los Angeles, and San Diego. The PSR and all of its divisions are 501(c)3 non-profit organizations.

The NMRA is the largest organization devoted to the development, promotion, and enjoyment of the hobby of model railroading. The NMRA was founded in 1935 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in order to provide a service to the hobby of model railroading.
