Lee is the new volunteer for the Arizona Division website. In taking on this role he is learning the new process and program so bear with him! Please feel free to email (see below) with any ideas, updates, or comments about the website.

Like many in the hobby got his start with a model train set as a kid, his first being a Tyco Spirit of '76 set, which he still has. Lee models in HO at home on a layout that is being developed as a proto-freelance of the Western Maryland, South Penn and Northern Central Railroads(a PRR Line) had they survived into the ConRail era. He collects vintage HO, O and Standard gauge as an added benifit of enjoying that side of the hobby as well as being a railfan. He is involved in the Yuma Model Railroaders and YMRR Modular Railroad Club, HO scale.

Lee has been a volunteer for the National Model Railroad Association as the project manager for the NMRA 100% Clubs for the past several years. This is a program that supports model railroad clubs across the US and Canada whose membership is 100% NMRA members and provides benifits to them, in particular club liability insurance. Lee says the best part of this work is all the great people he has been in contact with across the Country and he says he has visited every web site of each of those member clubs and seen the vast array of excellent work being done.

Be sure to say hi next time you are at one of the meets!
